Main Street Heritage & Music Festival

The Green Dog 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday July 23 at 7:00 pm (Registration will begin at 6:00pm). All proceeds will benefit the United Way of the Virginias and its partners in Tazewell County. The Green Dog 5K Course is certified by the State of Franklin Track Club and is a points race. Awards for the 5K will include overall male and female race winners, and 1st and 2nd place for each age group.
The age groups are:
  • 19 & under,
  • 20-24,
  • 25-29,
  • 30-34,
  • 35-39,
  • 40-44,
  • 45-49,
  • 50-54,
  • 55-59,
  • 60 & over

Registration fees are as follows:
  • Pre-Registration (before7/20)
  • $15 New Participants
  • Returning Runner w/Pre Registration--$12.50,
  • Referral Runner w/Pre-Registration--$10,
  • Regular Registration (on 7/23)--$20.
The race will begin at Four Seasons YMCA beside of Tazewell Hospital.
